Himeji Castle

Himeji Castle is a beautiful castle known as Shirasagi Castle, the first registered World Heritage Site in Japan. Himeji Castle has a route that goes directly to the main keep, as well as smaller routes such as the Nishinomaru route, which goes around the Nishinomaru and Koseyagura turrets, which are related to Senhime, and the Okikuido route, which goes around the legendary Okikuido. Around Himeji Castle, there are sightseeing spots such as Kokoen, a Japanese garden where you can appreciate Himeji Castle as a borrowed scenery, and Taiyo Park, a theme park with a white castle as its symbol. The Himeji Castle sightseeing loop bus is also convenient, and you can depart from Himeji Station and tour around Himeji Castle and its surrounding sightseeing spots.

Himeji Castle is a wonderful tourist destination where you can feel the history and culture. Please visit once by all means.
